To differentiate the Makita brand from its competitors, it was essential to incorporate impactful storytelling using high-quality photography. This approach can help establish a unique brand identity and engage users in a visually appealing and memorable way, setting Makita apart from other brands in the industry.

The newly redesigned Makita homepage is fully responsive, ensuring that it is mobile-friendly and tailored to meet the needs of users based on their browsing experience. One of the key enhancements is the addition of image rollovers, which allows users to see the tools in action and instantly understand their capabilities. Each section of the homepage is carefully curated to showcase different areas of focus for the Makita brand and its products. There is also a strong emphasis on highlighting the innovative technology behind each tool, with curated copy that clearly explains the benefits to users. To improve the experience for vendors and partners, additional tool categories were created using icons, and the navigation menu was reorganized to make it easier to find the information they need.
